D-days

September 18, 2008

When you start to see everyone decked out in business attire and hear heels clicking all over school, you know that the days of panic are iminent.

The days of sleep deprivation;
days of 20-hour days;
days of endless project work.

Heck, I think those days have arrived early for me.

Chanced upon this online.

Friendship.
It’s freedom;
it’s laughter;
it’s comfort;
it’s strength;
it’s you;
it’s me;
it’s us.
And it means the world to me.

So simple, but so sweet. (=

Made in heaven

September 8, 2008

I was walking along City Hall, and I saw this guy with a t-shirt that says “A marriage is made in heaven, so are lightning and thunder”

It got me thinking, because of how saddeningly apt it seemed, having been through enough turmoil to be able to relate to that statement.

So, holding on to the remaining sliver of faith that I had at that point in time, I raked my head to try to prove that statement wrong, and I realised..

A marriage is made in heaven, so are lightning and thunder (still held true);
so are rainbows;
so are silver linings in clouds;
so are angels.
