One doesn’t fully appreciate a public holiday until… well, until it’s a welcomed break.
Although reading can be done anywhere, we decided to be a little more romantic and cycle to East Coast and settle down with a book (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for me; and John Grisham: The Firm for him), a bag of Super Rings and some drinks.

And on Saturday, upon certain level of boredom (on my part mostly), we decided to bake chocolate chip cookies.
Searched for a recipe on Msn.com…
First batch of cookies – FAILED. The cookies were not supposed to be square and stuck together.
Second batch – way better. (=
The long weekend served to be of days to ponder and reflect. But that will come later.
