TP

Recently, I’ve been tasked to gather some information from the tertiary institutes in Singapore. It’s not that I’m biased, but I really think people in Temasek Polytechnic are just a class above all others.

The lecturers I spoke to at TP said they’re more than happy to help, and I know that they meant it. They spoke with such enthusiasm about their courses, answered my questions eloquently and flawlessly, and they didnt make me feel like I was stupid. They addressed me by my name, and they insisted that I called back if I had anymore questions.

Others on the other hand, weren’t so generous with the sharing of information. Some sounded rather bland, like it’s just another job obligation to talk to me, and their “I’m happy to help” really didnt reflect in their voices. Some can’t wait to get off the phone.

I dont know what is it with TP, but time and time again, I’m assured that I graduated from a pristine institute of education who walk their talk.  Whatever they’re doing, it’s sure as hell working in the right direction.

For breakfast today, I ate:
- 1 bowl of oatmeal with raisins
- 1 slice of toasted kopitiam bread with my feel-good Goober peanut butter & grape jam (because this is comfort food)
- $1.20 chee cheong fun from Amoy street (because I just felt like it)

And then I happen to see a person’s blog, who happens to have a great figure/is very conscious of her outlook, and she commented that she dont eat carbs.

Oh, tell me about the guilt.
